For any jewelry made of silver, vermeil, gold and set with BurmaliteTM or fine stones, it is possible to clean it yourself regularly, a quick and simple act.

First, immerse it in warm, soapy water and gently clean it using a soft-bristled brush and a neutral PH soap.

Then rinse it thoroughly with lukewarm water, dry it and buff it with a soft cloth.

For creations made from cultured or synthetic pearls, we recommend cleaning the pearl by gently wiping it with a soft cloth; otherwise, we advise you to return your jewelry to a Burma boutique. Our teams in store and in our Jewelry workshops will take great care of it.

We recommend choosing your jewelry based on the activity of the day. Therefore, it is preferable not to adorn yourself with your jewelry in the following situations:

• Intense thermal shock (sports activities, beach, swimming pool or seaside activities)
• Contact with corrosive products (gardening, DIY, household chores)
• Contact with acidic substances (perfumes and makeup)

Your jewelry must be stored in its Burma case to protect it from any shock or scratch. It is not recommended to store several pieces of jewelry in the same case, as they could be scratched by friction.

We advise you not to polish a piece of gold jewelry more than two or three times during its life, as polishing removes a thin layer of metal from the surface of the jewelry, through the combined use of brushes and abrasive pastes.

Regarding silver and vermeil jewelry, it is possible to have them rhodium-plated or vermeil-plated at your convenience.

We particularly invite you to visit one of our stores twice a year with your Burma jewelry, the teams will be happy to clean it using an ultrasonic machine.

It is possible to adjust the size of certain Burma jewelry for reasons of comfort and depending on the type of piece. The feasibility of sizing will depend both on the model of your jewelry and the desired sizing.

We therefore recommend that you bring your creation to one of our Burma stores in order to establish a feasibility diagnosis.
